The textures and silhouettes that the presence or absence of light gives birth to;
The shadows cast when the sun’s warm rays hit the cold cement wall of a monument;
The golden rays filtering through the dark foliage on a forest floor; arches lit up, dark corridors;
moonlight bouncing off the scales of fish in the ocean...
this play of light and shadow is what inspired amrich for spring summer 2017.

Working in tandem with master craftspeople across the country, they made use of the knowledge of ancient hand skills to translate their inspiration onto exquisite natural textiles. Playing with contrasts of light and shadow, simple and layered, fluidity and structure, fit and flare they present a collection of chic but easy garments that take their ideas of clothing forward. Their shapes have evolved through the synergizing of the traditional clothing of the Orient with the classics of the Occident.
